Below given image have two reference designs in it which we picked up from the internet and shall mix them up for creating our own desired type.

Taking both in the Illustrator workspace, ungroup them and delete the unwanted parts from the image. Take the ribbon and the back circles and by joining them up we get the below given image.

Add Effective Typography:

Now once you have decided the shape of your logo design consider the written matter. The font type is an essential aspect of the logo design. A good font separates a great logo design from an average one. You can stick to one font or you can go on experimenting with mixing up two or more font types. The choice is purely yours.

Consider the below-given image, the ‘cats’ is written in Seaside Resort font while the word ‘design’ is written in Silverfake font. For smaller details, another font can be used such as Caviar Dreams font.

Once you are done with selecting the font for the text, select the entire text and convert it to outlines from types. You can easily achieve this by clicking on Type and then go to Create Outline option and then your text can be manipulated easily.

Add Colors:

For the ‘pop up’ in your logo, you have to make use of colors. The black and white logo might not look as appealing as a colored one would, but yes, exceptions are always there. But we shall make it colorful so now, put some colors that you find appropriate according to the theme of the logo.

Create Some Design Elements:

To add some twist to the logo you can create or import some design elements and add them to your logo. This will add some style to your logo design. Once you are done with adding elements to your image, start placing the text in place.

Move and scale the elements to fit in the shape and then align them to give final touches your design.
